how to reset key fob/remote for 2002 Jaguar x type?

nope it did not work. the fobs are over $250 for new and key is priced separately. could it be the driver door module?
It could be the rke receiver or the key fob itself.
When you take fob apart to install the battery,did you look at the buttons to see if there still hook up
not sure what you mean?? still hook up?
When you take the RKE apart there is little button that are solider to the circuit board,some time they come off the circuit board.
oh I'll ask my husband. all other websites said that Jaguar keyless remote can only be done by dealer

When you have the battery out you can look in there to see if any thing is loose
will do. my husband is very mechanically inclined and can usually fix anything, i am pretty sure he checked but I'll ask. thanks
